Arrogant Bastard This is an aural hand grenade! Exceedingly hostile and belligerent from start to finish Morir breaks you down as it engages in some of the heaviest breakdowns this side of the rocky mountains. This album may only be 20 minutes long, but the ground it covers is impressive and leaves only ruins in its short, but considerable wake.
Favorite track: Trauma.

黑之爱丽丝 Hyper-aggressive metalcore with teeth bared. Favorite track: Atado.

progdolphin Crossed sacrifices throat and finger to claw a purpose from hate and rage. Though the breakdown-led, bleeding tongue stylings lend themselves toward a definition of blackened hardcore, the intensity of these 10 frightful figures in 20 minutes lays waste to simple defintion. I don't believe Crossed has created a caldera of their talents yet though... enjoy them now and continue to watch them explode later. Favorite track: Oxido.

Chez Brendan Sloan, la solitude écrasante n'est pas qu'une philosophie de vie : c'est une condition sine qua non de la création. Plus dissonant encore qu'Errata, Grievous est l'illustration du nom du groupe. Toute possibilité d'une tranquilité psychologique est menacée par une tempête de riffs convulsifs ("Inert"). Après la fureur du champ de bataille, les dieux des ténèbres s'apprêtent à emporter les victimes de la folie humaine au royaume des ombres : tel est le spectacle morbide que l'on peut voir sur la pochette du deuxième album de Serpent Column. Ornuthi Thalassa était déjà une œuvre folle ; Mirror in Darkness est une offrande au chaos. Plusieurs pistes pétrifient par leur tornade de violence, comme "Ausweg" ou "Amphiclasm" mais toutes sont très techniques avec une tension électrique. Éclatant ! Jordan Vauvert
