flightoficarus (Metal Trenches) I'm hearing the purported Norma Jean influence with these chaotic, slidey riffs and distorted gang vocals. But Coarse are no clone either. The way that the vocals sometimes dip into into a death register draw parallels to newer acts like Vein, Code Orange, and Wolf King. It's just a great mixture of everything I love about hardcore, past and present.
